    Method

    How this works.

    Scoring

Each answer scores Yes = 2, Sometimes = 1, No = 0. Each of the five categories has 5 questions, so scores out of 10, shown as a percentage. The overall score is the average of all 25.

    Grade

    A: 85% and over. B: 70 to 84%. C: 55 to 69%. D: 40 to 54%. F: under 40%.

    Fixes

We take your three weakest categories and give you the most valuable action for each, based on the specific questions you answered No or Sometimes to. Ties go to the category with more No answers.

The dollar range (indicative, not a prediction)

If you enter leads and sale value, we work from these stated assumptions, which are Firestarter's own rules of thumb and not published statistics:

    • A well-run follow-up process would close about 20% of your leads (default; editable).
    • Your process gap (100% minus your overall score) causes between 25% and 60% of that potential to leak, shown as a low to high range (defaults; editable).
    • The range is annualised (x12) and rounded.

Formula: leads × sale value × ideal close rate (default 20%) × gap × share leaking (default 25% to 60%) × 12. You can edit all three assumptions above the button. Your industry, lead quality and average deal cycle will move the real number a lot. Treat it as a conversation starter. This audit is a self-assessment and uses no third-party statistics.
